BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Santa Claus along with Mrs. Claus will be arriving at the Bridgewater Commons mall on Saturday, Nov. 12 for the Christmas season.
Similar to previous years, Santa's guests will not be sitting on his lap this year. Rather, Santa will sit in his grand velvet chair on an elevated platform behind his guests. A bright red photo frame sits in front of Santa with the saying, "Holiday Joy."
The Santa Celebration will begin on Nov. 12 at 11 a.m. with members of the New Jersey Youth Chorus performing a set of holiday songs. Trumpeters will then signal to all that Santa and Mrs. Claus are on the way to officially declare Santa at the Commons open for the holiday season.
Following the holiday season photo set’s official ribbon-cutting opening, The Village Carolers will stroll the center singing favorite holiday tunes.
Presented by Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset, Santa at the Commons, located in Center Court on the Lower Level, will open for visits and photos immediately following the ceremony.
Santa will remain at the Commons through Saturday, Dec. 24.
"Kicking off the start to the holidays with joy, coupled with community, is a long-standing Bridgewater Commons tradition," said Marketing Director Tom Kovacic. "We’re not only thrilled the New Jersey Youth Chorus is helping us welcome Santa Claus to Bridgewater Commons this year, but look forward to a wonderful holiday and gift-giving season filled with many more surprises along the way!"
